| Verbena x hybrida
|
Description Verbena x hybrida 'Blue Princess' was discovered in England on a collecting trip by Greg Grant. Verbenas are tough perennials; these plants are a great choice when a heat and drought tolerant plant is needed, this particular cultivar also happens to be mildew resistant. Don't worry Verbenas will also look nice by blooming continuously through the summer months. Blue Princess Verbena is easy to care for and is great for attracting wildlife into the garden! The flowers are purple to lavender and blooms from Spring until Fall. It is best to shear this perennial back after it blooms to promote new blooms, also this plant must be in a sunny location to bloom to it's full potential. Verbena x hybrida 'Blue Princess' has a trailing habit, reaching only 12" tall with a 36" spread, which is great for in the garden or as a potted plant on the patio. Hardiness: USDA Zones
