Description Tulbaghia violacea is a fast growing plant that forms clumps reaching 30 inches in height. This plant grows well in dry circumstances and makes a good rock garden or container plant. The plant has gray-green narrow leaves that are somewhat evergreen in warmer climates. Society Garlic gives off a garlic scent and has been said to help rid gardens of mole problems. The flowers are lilac in color and the plant will bloom from midsummer to early fall. Hardiness: USDA Zones 7-10
