Description

Scabiosa columbaria 'Butterfly Blue' produces 2" lavender-blue flowers late spring to early fall that are reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. Pincushion Flower will get up to 18" tall with the flower and the gray-green foliage will get 6-8" tall, the plant can get up to 12-15" wide. This is a great plant for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds and does excellent in rock gardens. Named 2000 PPA Perennial Plant of the Year!
