Pittosporum tobira - Pittosporum

Description

Pittosporum tobira is native to China, Korea, and Japan and can be used as a large shrub or even a small tree. Green Pittosporum has a dense rounded habit and can grow an excess of 10 to 15 feet. This shrub has dark green glossy leaves that are arranged almost spirally around the stem. The flowers are creamy white and smell like orange blossoms, Pittosporum blooms from late spring to early summer. This shrub is salt and heat tolerant.
