Description These South African Daisies bloom when the weather is cool, making them good color for early spring sales. They have large, colorful, daisy-like blooms, and should be planted where the sun can warm them up on cool spring mornings. Osteospermum blooms will close every evening, and open up again in early morning. Regular deadheading will encourage new bloom, and a light summer pruning may result in a fall flush of bloom after the weather cools off. They grow 8-15”, with a mounding growth habit. Be sure to use these at the front of the border or set them around the patio in pots. Osteospermum ecklonis ‘Nasinga Purple’ P.P. #12262 has gorgeous purple spoon petals that are a blue reverse, and has a blue disk. Hardiness: USDA Zones
