Description

Magnolia grandiflora 'Edith Bogue' is a more cold hardy selections of Magnolia grandiflora selected from Mrs. Bogue's New Jersey garden after surviving a harsh winter that wiped out all of the other Magnolias. This Magnolia has shiny green leathery leaves with brown undersides and will remain evergreen throughout the winter. Edith Bogue Magnolia will reach 60-80' tall and has a compact pyramidal growth habit. This cultivar will bloom late spring through summer, blooms are lemon-scented and a creamy white color.
