Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' - Frydek Alocasia

Description

Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' is a selection of Alocasia that comes out of the Great State of Texas. This Alocasia sports satiny deep emerald green leaves. The white midrib and veins provide a striking combination with the deep leaf color. This plant can reach 2-4' tall with a 5' spread at maturity, it is best spaced every 24-36". This Alocasia will perform great in Southern gardens, if the soil freezes in the winter be sure to move the plant indoors. Best in bright but filtered light to prevent leaf scorch. This is a great plant in the garden as well as in containers and combination containers.
