Once it warms up the foliage changes to a bronzy green with a wine tint and the buds burst open with stunning white, sometimes pinkish flowers in early July and continue flowering until frost. Lagerstroemia indica 'Whit VI' P.P. #14438 is a vigorous grower, reaching 15' or more in height and is highly resistant to powdery mildew.
