Description

This creeping shrub features blue-gray foliage in the summer time which changes to a purple color in the winter time. The Bar Harbor's chameleon like leaves have long, sharp points that come in pairs or threes when juvenile and are more scale like or flat when they are adult. Juniperus chinensis 'Bar Harbor' has a moderate growth rate and gets about a foot tall and grows to six feet in width making it a nice choice to use for a groundcover.
