Description Heuchera x ‘Raspberry Ice ’ P.P. #13,340 is a beautiful, compact Heuchera with ruffled heart shaped leaves, coming from breeder Charles Oliver in Scottdale, PA. These leaves are dark purple to raspberry color with metallic gray sheen on top and even darker veining. In late spring or early summer they will be adorned with 2 toned pink flowers atop dark purple stems. Keeping them deadheaded will insure bloom until August. Coral Bells grows well in most any soil from heavy clay, acidic, to alkaline but must be well drained. In hot, humid areas grow in partial shade, in other climates full sun will give the best color. This Heuchera was breed to do well in the cold and to take the dry summer heat. At maturity Heuchera x 'Raspberry Ice' P.P. #13,340 will reach 12” tall with a 30", with flower the plant will reach 24" tall. This Coral Bells received an excellent rating at the University of Georgia Plant Trials, blooming loner than any other, 10 weeks! Hardiness: USDA Zones
