Gardenia jasminoides 'Veitchii' - Everblooming Gardenia

Description

Gardenia jasminoides 'Veitchii' is an evergreen shrub with intense sweet smelling flowers. Like most Gardenias in late Spring the fragrant velvety double white flowers cover the dense mound of glossy dark emerald green foliage and can continue sporadically throughout the summer months. Everblooming Gardenia likes moist, well-drained acidic soil and can reach 4' tall with a 3' spread at maturity. 'Veitchii's' more compact size and smaller leaves make it more suitable to indoor planting as well.
