Description

This Echinacea is just one selection in the Big Sky ™ series from ItSaul Plants. Sunrise Coneflower PPAF is a cross between E. purpurea and E. paradoxa giving it the large flowers, re-flexed petals, and strong stems.  It will grow to a height of 3.5 feet making it an excellent plant for the back of a sunny border.  The large 4-5” flowers are the luscious creamy yellow of melted butter, and as an added bonus, Sunrise Coneflower is fragrant.  Echinacea purpurea x paradoxa 'Sunrise' will attract many butterflies and bees, but is still deer resistant.  The large cone heads will also make tempting treats for the birds in fall.
