Dianthus caryophyllus 'Grenadin Pink' - Carnation

Description

Dianthus caryophyllus ‘Grenadin Pink’ is also known as clove dianthus because of it’s 2-3” spicy scented blooms that appear in early spring. Where most Carnations have scalloped edges on the petals, this cultivar has smooth edges and strong stems. ‘Grenadine Pink’ is low growing at only 20-24 ” tall and 30" wide with blue-gray needle-like foliage. This Carnation should be grown in full sun and good drainage is a must.
