Cordyline x 'Purple Sensation' - Purple Sensation Cordyline

Description

Cordyline x 'Purple Sensation' is a newer variety of Cordyline that resulted from a cross between C. australis 'Purpurea' and C. banksii. Purple Sensation Cordyline has deep wine colored leaves with a brighter red colored midrib. This Cordyline can reach 6.5' at maturity and has a bushy habit. Coming from Australia this is seen as an improvement on 'Purple Tower' as it is more vigorous and does not become unstable in the landscape.
