Description

Cestrum fasciculatum 'Newellii' is an evergreen shrub with arching branches that bare narrow ovate dark-green leaves. From Spring till Fall Red Cestrum puts out dense blooms of crimson tubular flowers. This tubular shape makes the flowers a favorite of hummingbirds, but bees and butterflies like it too! The flowers are followed by purple berries. All plant parts are poisonous so enjoy looking at it but don't eat it! 'Newellii' can reach 6-8 feet tall with a 3-5 foot spread.
