Carex morrowii 'Aurea-variegata' - Variegated Japanese Sedge

Description

Carex morrowii 'Aurea-variegata' is a mounded, clumping grass with a moderate rate of growth. The highlight of this grass is the foliage which is stiff, bright green with creamy white stripes, very striking! Variegated Japanese Sedge does best in a well drained soil and will not tolerate overly wet soils. This Sedge is low growing, only 12" x 12" and is best used as a border, groundcover, as single clumps along rocks, or in mixed containers.
