Description Campsis x tagliabuana 'Madame Galen' is a cross between C. grandiflora the Chinese Trumpet Creeper and C. radicans the American Trumpet Creeper, which is native to the Gulf Coast region of the U.S. This Trumpet Creeper is a high climbing deciduous vine, with stems reaching 15-30 feet, that is good for hot, dry areas. 'Madame Galen' produces a dense cloak of dark green serrated leaves on the woody stems. In the summer blooms are showy clusters of large orange-red trumpet shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds.
