| Bambusa textilis
|
Description Bambusa textilis is an attractive non-invasive bamboo that grows in tight clumps of tough, straight canes. This species is one of the more cold hardy of the tropical bamboo, only dropping a little foliage at 10-15°F. Weaver's Bamboo has a tidy appearance, with no branches on the lower half of the clump, showing off the beautiful canes. The top canopy is full and lust and has a graceful arching growth habit. Weaver's Bamboo produces high quality thin-walled culms that are often used for weaving or furniture making. Hardiness: USDA Zones
