Azalea x 'Watchet' - Watchet Azalea

Description

'Watchet' is a Robin Hill hybrid (Ref. No. T28-10) this is a cross between 'Amagasa' x ('Louise Gable' x Tama-giku'), these are compact and evergreen and produce masses of ruffled blooms in the spring and fall. The Robin Hill hybrids are a large group of Azaleas that got their start more than 50 years ago by Robert Gartrell of Wycoff, New Jersey. The Watchet Azalea is a rebloomer with profuse light pink flowers with ruffled petals, these lay against a background of dark glossy green foliage. Azalea x 'Watchet' has a compact habit and is semi-dwarf only growing to be 2-3 feet tall.
