Description Aster novae-angliae ‘Alma Potschke’ is a fall blooming Aster and is native east of the rockies It will be covered with small, bright pink, quarter size blooms from September to frost and grows 3-4’ high with a 1-2’ spread. New England Aster needs well drained soil and will take part shade in the hot summer months. This Aster is a late summer food source for bees and butterflies. Work great in borders, mixed perennial beds as well as in containers Hardiness: USDA Zones
